Collective protection

The IN-8011 is a large mobile guardrail to which a davit arm with a 610 mm reach can be attached. This access system is specially designed to protect users working above vertical openings (e.g., manholes, hatches). The guardrail provides collective protection for safety personnel or other bystanders.

V- or 4-Sided Configuration

Thanks to its modular design, the guardrail can be arranged in a classic 4-sided configuration or in a “V” shape. It can be opened while maintaining system stability. In a V-shape or when using a fall block longer than 15 meters, an extra stabilizer is required. The wheeled stabilizer (A2108-20) enables the user to roll the system over flat surfaces.

Fast Installation and Movement

The system can be installed in under 3 minutes without any tools. Locking is done using safety pins. The lightweight and compact guardrail is easy to transport and install independently.

SRL / Winch Compatibilit

The IN-8011 is fully compatible with the Xtirpa™ SRL winch (IN-2477) or a powered personnel winch. Multiple mounting brackets are available for different brands of fall arrest blocks.

Strong and Stable Anchor Point for 2 Persons

The davit arm, combined with the guardrail, has a breaking strength of 18.68 kN and is more stable after a fall compared to an H-base system. The steel D-anchor in the center of the arm has a breaking strength of 22 kN. The system is certified under EN 795 type B, CE, OSHA, and CSA standards, and supports a safe working load of 190 kg.

Comparison with IN-8002

• Width: The mobile guardrail of the IN-8011 (1300 mm) is larger than the IN-8002 (960 mm), making it ideal for wide hatches.
• Modularity: The IN-8011 guardrail can be extended with additional modules, offering more flexibility than the IN-8002.
