Collective protection

The IN-8002 is a mobile guardrail onto which a davit arm with a 610 mm reach can be mounted. This entry system is specially designed to secure users working above vertical openings (manholes, hatches, etc.). The guardrail provides collective protection for safety attendants or other bystanders.

“V” or 4-Sided Configuration

Thanks to its modular design, the user can set up the guardrail in a classic 4-sided layout or in a “V” shape. The guardrail can be opened while maintaining stability. When used in a “V” shape or with a fall arrest block of more than 15 meters, an extra stabilizer must be used. The wheeled stabilizer (A2108-20) allows the system to be moved on flat surfaces.

Quick Installation and Movement

The system can be set up in less than 3 minutes without any tools. Locking is done using safety pins. The lightweight and compact guardrail is easy to transport and can be installed independently.

SRL / Winch Compatibility

The IN-8002 is fully compatible with the Xtirpa™ SRL winch (IN-2477) or a powered personnel winch. Various mounting brackets are available for different brands of fall arrest blocks.

Strong and Stable Anchor Point for 2 Persons

The davit arm, in combination with the guardrail, has a breaking strength of 18.68 kN and is more stable after a fall compared to systems using an H-base. The steel D-ring anchor at the center of the arm has a breaking strength of 22 kN.
The system is certified to EN 795 Type B, CEN/TS 16415 for 2 persons, OSHA, and CSA, and supports a safe working load of 190 kg.
